I could not have been more excited when I saw the LygoLamp from the Netherlands-based design firm Studio Mango. Inspired by LEGO bricks, they created a circular hanging lamp that arrives at your home in the form of 12 dozen curved, interlocking plastic bricks, as well as the necessary lighting hardware. After some childhood block building fun, you have yourself a super cool and modern fixture that will surely get people talking.
“Embodiment” is a stunning glass sculpture of a human skeleton that is brilliantly lit with krypton gas. The sculpture was created over the course of two years by artist Eric Franklin.

Studio Toer, a creative firm based in The Netherlands, recently designed the Spring LED Lamp. The simple fixture features a purple-ish felt shade attached to two flexible, super skinny steel rods. The light is meant to be directional and easily moves around by moving the rods up and down.
